MPlayer provides excellent streaming video support for Mozilla, Firefox, Epiphany and Konqueror. Install the ''mplayer'' package from the Multiverse repository. A companion program called MEncoder can be used to encode or transform any audio or video stream that MPlayer can read. Then, I created the inetradio.MPlayer is a powerful and versatile media player that can play all types of free media formats (see the FreeFormats page) as well as most 'non-free' media formats. ![]() I added the following to my library.xml file. I'm only going to show you the 2 required changes to get this hack to work. You will notice that these are simple, novice scripts that are pretty crude. OK, now we are going to write a couple of über-simple shell scripts that we will use to make MythTV work with mlayer.
